GDPR & data protection

Crestline Printers Limited and My Child's Art take the protection of children very seriously.

Security certificates

We have a robust system in place and regularly update the security certificates on our website.

Protecting children's names

The children’s names will not appear as one big long list and will never be displayed in full.

We use a search bar facility with partially obscured surnames and this can only be accessed via your secure online parent portal using unique login details that only you have control of.

For most schools / groups and most children, other parents logging in and seeing disguised names of their children’s classmates alongside their own child’s is not an issue. However for children subject to a protection order, keeping their names entirely secret can be important.

This is why for these children, we can display a code number in the portal rather than the child’s name. This way, the parent will recognise their child’s artwork but their name will not be displayed. When the parent places their order online, they will have the opportunity to change the code to read as their child’s name before we print anything. Even though they will have updated their child’s name for their unique order, our website will still only ever display the code within the parent portal - keeping the identity permanently protected.
